Forensic by construction

Every record can tell you
who touched it,
and what it looked like before.

This is not an audit log you enable in settings. In Amzaa, recording who changed what, when and why is how a write happens. There is no path to change a record that skips it, because the database itself derives and seals the entry.

Whoa person, resolved to a name on read, not a raw identifier
Whenstamped by the engine, so the caller cannot forge the clock
Whatthe field, the value before, and the value after
Whythe workflow stage, the rule, or the approval that caused it
Machineif an agent proposed it, that is recorded, with the human who approved
Sealedan immutable, hash-chained entry; break a link and the platform detects it
Why it cannot be skipped

The database derives the entry, so no caller gets to be wrong.

If code writes the audit entry, then every place that writes a record is a place that can write the wrong entry, or forget to. Amzaa moves it into the database: a trigger derives who and what from the record itself, before it is sealed.

Every caller loses the right to be wrong. A record cannot describe a change it did not make.

Notwritten by five different code paths
Derivedby the database, from the record
Orderedso the seal covers the corrected row
Refusedan entry that names no record cannot exist
What it gives you

Three answers you can produce on demand.

"Who changed this?"

A name, a time, and the reason, for any record, going back to its creation. No reconstruction from memory.

"What did it say before?"

The value before every change. Time-travel to any prior state of the record, exactly as it stood.

"Was this edited later?"

The seal answers it. If any historical entry was touched, verification fails, loudly, from that point on.
